From a Personal Search to a Northern California Design Destination
After moving to California, Dmitriy and Ella Aks discovered how difficult it was to find quality Italian furniture in the Sacramento area. They wanted furniture with the comfort, materials, scale, and modern European style they loved — but the options available locally did not meet that standard.
After extensive research, they began importing the pieces they wanted for their own home. Friends and visitors immediately noticed the quality, comfort, and distinctive Italian design. What started as a personal search became the beginning of Furnitalia®.
In 2004, Dmitriy and Ella founded Furnitalia® to share their passion for Italian and European furniture with Northern California. Today, Furnitalia® continues that same mission: helping clients create homes that feel elegant, functional, modern, and deeply comfortable.
